Santtu is Former Executive Director of Cleantech Finland www.cleantechfinland.fi, a network of top 150 Finnish cleantech companies and experts dedicated to linking Finnish cleantech expertise with global demand. In addition, Santtu was responsible for Helsinki Capital Region Smart&Clean Project at Sitra. The goal of the project was to make the Helsinki region a global smart and clean reference area. Finnish companies need a reference area on an international scale for developing new low-carbon solutions, testing innovations and showcasing their Cleantech expertise. The Helsinki metropolitan area can provide this and boost Finland’s competitiveness. Prior to Solved, Sitra and Cleantech Finland, consultant in Finpro Austria and Head of Trade Center in Romania for cleantech companies to develop and expand business in new markets. Earlier served the UN as an Environmental Consultant for the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) in Thailand and in the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) in Hungary. Santtu is an experienced moderator, mentor and presenter both in private business (particularly SMEs and start-ups) and in high-level multinational settings. He is also a seasoned public speaker with experience in speaking at tens of high-level sustainability conferences. One of the highlights was that he was invited as keynote speaker and main panellist at Global Green Growth Summit in 2012 in Korea together with CEO & President of Mckinsey & Company.
