With a degree in Economics (Comillas University, ICADE) and Master in Business Administration (DEUSTO University), Gerardo is Managing Director at coches.com, one of the main Spanish automotive marketplaces. Leading the new car lead business in the country, coches.com also operates in the used car, lease and finance online markets. In the last months has launched paycar.es as the first transactional p2p solution for used cars.

In 1999, Gerardo had founded in SpainAutoscout24, the first internet automotive classified marketplace in the country, being Country Manager since the foundation of the company until 2018.

Participating also in the automotive industry, is also Vice-president of GANVAM, national association of vehicle dealers and repairers, that represent the automotive distribution industry in front of national authorities as well as European through the membership of CECRA.
