Chris Sherwood

Chris Sherwood has been Head of Policy at the OLX Group, one of the world’s leading operators of classifieds marketplaces, since 2017, when he founded the Policy function. He has responsibility for all of OLX’s public policy activities globally. OLX Group belongs to Naspers/Prosus, one of the world’s leading tech investors; Chris has previously created new policy functions at Naspers’ Allegro Group subsidiary and at Naspers itself. Before this he was Yahoo’s Director for EU public policy, and has also been a public affairs consultant and worked for the US Department of Commerce at the US Mission to the EU in Brussels. He is a citizen of France, the UK, and the USA.
